Preparation
- Go to Settings > Security > unchecked “Unknown Sources“
- Download Root ZenFone 1.2r
Root Zenfone 5
- Turn off your data / wifi connection (Airplane mode is OK)
- Install Root Zenfone 1.2r
- Run Root ZenFone, checked “Do not ask”, then OK
- Choose SuperSU (by ChainFire)
- Select Root button
- After demonstartion mode, a message “You have activated this demo device OFFLINE successfully” will appear, close application
- Reboot your ASUS ZenFone 5
- Run Root ZenFone, if root ssuccess then SuperSU will ask for ROOT access to that application
- Done, now your device is successfully root, don`t forget to install BusyBox
