Check “Install from unknown source” (settings > Security), an alert message will appear, tap Yes
Check “USB debugging“, at default this option is hidden under developer option, to unhide this option you need go to settings
> about > software Information, then tap several time on “Build
Number” until a congratulation for unhide “developer option”label appear
Download and install TowelRoot (link bellow) on your device
Root Asus PadFone S
Run TowelRoot
Click “Make it rain” and wait until root process done
After notification root success, Open Google Playstore and install SuperSu application
After install and update SuperSU, reboot device
Done, now your Asus PadFone S is Rooted
